BL Companies is currently providing design services to the Connecticut Department of Transportation under the List 15 Bridge Rehabilitation Program in various locations throughout Connecticut. In this role, BL Companies provides preliminary engineering studies, preliminary and final design, permitting, bidding phase services, shop drawing review, and assistance during public outreach. These services generally include type studies, rehabilitation/replacement design, geotechnical investigations, boring plans, wetlands evaluations, roadway design, hydraulic/hydrologic analyses, utility coordination, maintenance and protection of traffic, pavement markings and signage, and traffic counts.
