As part of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process, which includes natural and cultural resources evaluations, BL Companies has completed categorical exclusions and environmental assessments by providing protected and preserved land assessments, wild and scenic river evaluations, wetland delineation and permitting, detailed archaeological evaluations, floodplain analysis, detailed historic structure surveys, tribal notifications, public notice placement in local newspaper(s), balloon simulations to mimic the proposed tower height and location, public outreach, and threatened and endangered species habitat evaluations.
