This is a new store that was developed on the edge of mixed-use redevelopment zone, and within a few blocks of downtown. It was designed to respond to the historic architecture of Portland, and to be visible from all four sides. Along with the organic fair characteristic of a Whole Foods Market facility, it has an expanded dining area intended to enhance the street life in this part of the city.
