Municipal Fire Station

The Town of Deep River sought to expand and renovate their 5,000 SF main fire station, which was originally constructed in the 1960’s.

The renovation will provide an additional apparatus bay to provide appropriate space and turning radius for the ladder trucks. The building façade will be extended with new gable roofs to soften its appearance and blend the building with the neighborhood’s residential environment.

The design includes meeting room to accommodate 120 persons, new restroom and kitchen facilities, radio room offices and support spaces. The site will include additional parking for 30 vehicles, new exterior lighting and aesthetic landscape treatments.
