LSI Lightron, a manufacturer of architectural lighting products, was looking to expand its Northeast presence. The building features a two-story lobby space that is welcoming for both visitors and staff. Part of this is a display area intended to provide hands-on product access for prospective customers. This area is linked with an outdoor display area for exterior light fixtures. The office space accommodates program requirements including corporate offices, conference facilities, cafeteria and support spaces. The manufacturing space consists of 200,000 SF of high bay space. This is designed for flexibility and growth. The exterior walls are constructed of precast concrete and the structural system is pre-engineered. Both systems were chosen for speed of construction, cost-effectiveness and durability. The facility includes an interior loading dock served with a crane system for deliveries of metal products.
