As part of a redevelopment of an existing shopping center, BL Companies completed land development permitting and construction administration for a new Kohl’s Department Store, repaving of the Shopping Center parking areas, landscaping and a new energy efficient site lighting system at the Brickyard Shopping Center.

Because the project site is located adjacent to a wetland, innovative stormwater management techniques were utilized to save construction costs and protect the environment.

BL Companies also acted as the facilitator with the architects for Kohl’s Department store and the Shopping Center owner.

This project involved survey, traffic engineering, civil engineering and landscape architecture.
